近些年来，防爆行業快速发展。在2008年1季度上海市相关部门對其产品进行了专项抽查，為安全世博打好基础。
在此专项监督抽查过程当中，对涉及有关防爆行程开关、防爆電磁起动器以及防爆燈具、防爆仪表等产品都进行了的抽查检验。
对於此次抽查监督的标准是按照國家强制性标准GB3836.1-2000《爆炸性氣体环境用電氣设备第1部分：通用要求》、GB3836.2-2000《爆炸性氣体环境用電氣设备第2部分：隔爆型“d”》、GB3836.3-2000《爆炸性氣体环境用電氣设备第3部分：增安型“e”》以及备案的企業标准和产品质量明示担保进行抽查。抽查项目针对产品结构的检查、以及冲击试验、_表面温度试验、外壳耐压试验、内部点燃的不传爆试验、外壳防护等级试验、绝缘介電强度试验等项目进行检测。
在抽查结果当中，经检验的十六种产品合格率达到72.7％，在防爆仪表类和防爆开关電器类产品的抽样合格率分别為90.9％和83.3％，只有防爆燈具类产品抽查的合格率較低剛达到20％左右。

Among the sample results by testing 16 kinds of product qualification rate reached 72.7%, in explosion-proof electrical switches explosion-proof instrument classes and the sampling rate of qualified products were 90.9% and 83.3%, only explosion-proof lighting products sampled low pass rate just reached 20%.
